A very famous Hollywood child star has joined Celebs Go Dating

Well, this is a very unexpected addition to the E4 line-up!

You may feel like Celebs Go Dating has only just come off air… but already the cast for the fourth series of the E4 show has been announced.

Fresh from wrapping its third series in September, bosses are now getting ready to help another batch of single stars find love.

And among them is an actual proper Hollywood star!

Jonathan Lipnicki – best known for playing the ‘cute kid’ in 1996 movie Jerry Maguire – will jet over to the UK in the hopes of finding Mrs Right – and it’s fair to say viewers are very impressed with his signing!

After he was revealed among the new cast on Twitter, one stunned fan said: “How did you get him? He’s my favourite child star!”

Another said: “This is a big deal! This guy is one of my heroes!”

And a third quipped: “OMG #starstruck. Send him over to Yorkshire. I’ll go on a date with him.”

Jonathan, now 27, was just five years old when he landed the role of Renee Zellweger’s son in Jerry Maguire, acting opposite Hollywood heavyweight Tom Cruise.

He went on to become an established Hollywood child star with movies including Stuart Little, The Little Vampire and Like Mike.

Fast forward more than two decades and, after taking a break from the screen, he’s back in the limelight, most recently starring in a horror movie called Circus Kane.

And clearly he’s ready to find someone to share his life with…

He’s already shared a photo from the first day of filming for Celebs Go Dating and has been hanging out with ex TOWIE star Joey Essex, who appeared in two previous series of the E4 show.

Getting love advice, perhaps?

Joining Jonathan on the fourth series of Celebs Go Dating is TOWIE star Gemma Collins, who said: “I am so ready to find my dream man and live happily ever after if there’s someone out there that is ready for all the candy!”

Her willingness to get out there and find love seems to rubbish those persistent rumours that she’s hooking up with ex-boyfriend and TOWIE co-star James ‘Arg’ Argent again.

Also looking for love is Made In Chelsea’s Sam Thompson, currently single after his fling with Amelia Lily in the Celebrity Big Brother house fizzled out.

Meanwhile, the dating agency may have their greatest challenge yet as Love Island’s notorious ‘Muggy’ Mike Thalassitis is another celeb taking part.

Made In Chelsea’s Ollie Locke, Scottish singer Tallia Storm, comedian London Hughes and Olympian Jade Jones complete the line-up.

Matchmakers Lady Nadia Essex and Eden Blackman return to pair the celebs up with members of the public, while receptionist Tom will once again ensure everything runs smoothly.

Celebs Go Dating returns to E4 early next year.
