Ever since Emmerdale viewers discovered that Lachlan White was keeping his aunt Rebecca captive, they realised it was only a matter of time before something bad happened.
Really bad.
With very few options left available to him, Lachlan and his famous temper look set to finish Rebecca off once and for all.

Well, he certainly can’t let her go now she knows too much. And we can’t see him giving himself up to the police, not even for his auntie.
(Not that family means much to the serial killer teenager; he’s already murdered his own granddad Lawrence and mum Chrissie).

Actress Emily Head, 29, has warned viewers of the ITV soap to prepare themselves for “brutal” scenes.
We know that Rebecca is left for dead when she accidentally knocks over her only water supply while Lachlan is away, leaving her alone and chained up in a disused cabin.
And, by the way, just HOW is she going to the toilet?!
Early spoilers have also teased that a group of young children come very close to discovering Rebecca, as they play in the woods.
As time begins to run out for Rebecca, things hurtle towards a dramatic climax.
Emily told What’s On TV: “The scenes are pretty full on. He never hits her, but he is certainly a bit rough at times and very menacing.”
The Inbetweeners star, who joined Emmerdale in 2016, continued: “She is genuinely terrified of what he may do to her. Survival instinct kicks in and to be subdued is a better option.
“They have a massive argument and he’s not very happy with her after that; she screams at him about all the awful things he’s done.
“He gets very angry and yanks at her chain. Some of it is pretty brutal.”

Lachlan has already killed half of his family and his best friend Gerry.
He’s told villagers that his auntie is visiting friends in Wales, so no one is looking for her.
It looks bleak for Rebecca, but fans are hoping she’ll be an instrument in Lachlan’s comeuppance…
Could she even be the one who finally brings Lachlan down once and for all?
