Emmerdale viewers were in danger of seeing their lunches again tuning into the Christmas Day episode.
First they had to contend with hungover groom Marlon vomiting into a wedding guest’s hat.
Then there was the nauseating sight of besotted underage teenager Jacob snogging teacher Maya.

She had suggested they slip away from the wedding do, and Jacob, with puppy dog eyes, handed over an expensive gift.
He then went in for a kiss, which she happily reciprocated.
But they were almost rumbled as David, Jacob’s dad and Maya’s boyfriend, came looking for them.
The schoolboy hid horrified while clueless David got frisky with Maya.

She looked amused at the prospect of Jacob having to listen while she did the deed with his old man.
Viewers have been hating the creepy plot anyway, but these latest scenes went too far for many.
