Emmerdale SPOILER: Ross collapses!

And little Moses is in danger too

| Updated:

Poor Ross Barton has had one of the toughest years in soap history – and that’s really saying something.

Not only did his mum shoot his brother, he then found out that his aunt – who had previously been sleeping with his other brother – killed his mum.

Then he got caught in the unfortunate crossfire between Debbie Dingle and Joe Tate and ended up with a face full of acid which has left him permanently disfigured.

He hopes at being reunited with Debbie were dashed when she revealed the acid attack was her fault and then he accidentally shot her.

And if that wasn’t enough he’s recently discovered that Rebecca – who he’d just got back together with – is missing, presumed dead.

It’s no wonder that Ross has needed to find something to take his mind off of his car crash of a life.

His worried friends Tracy and Ryan both tell Ross that he needs to knock the drugs on the head and he promises he will sort himself out.

But his words mean nothing when he throws another drug-fuelled party and gets off his face again.

The next day he struggles to cope with the comedown alongside looking after little Moses.

So Ross decides to try a bit of a hair-of-the-dog and whips out a little bag of drugs.

The next thing, he’s full of beans laying football with his little lad but disaster strikes when Ross keels over in pain, clutching his chest.

He falls to the ground, clearly in agony, while little Moses heads off alone towards the bridge.

Is there another Emmerdale tragedy on the cards?

We know that actor Mike Parr is departing the village soon but could he possibly die from a heart attack?

It gives weight to the theory that Debbie’s poorly daughter Sarah could be saved when she’s given Ross’ donor heart.

Hmmm….
