Robert and Nicola join forces next week

Graham Foster will find himself victim of a huge scam next week when Nicola King and Robert Sugden con him out of the haulage firm. But are the about to make enemies with the wrong person?

Graham has well and truly fallen off the wagon as he struggles to cope with the fact he is responsible for Joe Tate’s death.

But soon it’s more than his dignity he’s about to lose when he is duped while he’s drunk.

Nicola and Robert bond when they both realise they’re struggling with life. Robert is missing Aaron, who is away visiting Seb, and Nicola is weighed down with childcare issues.

Seeing how much he is missing his son, Nicola decides to step in and help Robert. But as the pair talk about their mutual woes, it doesn’t take long for the shifty pair to come up with a plan to make some money.

Deciding they want control of the haulage firm back from Graham, they plan to strike the man while he’s down – and with the former alcoholic knocking back the booze, they don’t have to wait long before he is worse for wear.

Robert and Nicola bide their time, then when they’re sure Graham is at his most vulnerable, they sneak into Home Farm and find him passed out on the sofa.

They manage to get him to scrawl his signature on their hastily written contract, signing everything over to them. But while Robert is thrilled at how smoothly their plan went, it’s clear that Nicola’s hiding something.

Emmerdale will air these scenes next week on Tuesday 20th November at 7pm and Wednesday 21st November at 7pm.

Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7pm on ITV, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays.
