Emmerdale SPOILER: Fears grow for Paddy and Chas

It's not looking good for the grieving couple

Our hearts are breaking as Emmerdale’s Paddy Kirk and Chas Dingle fight to save their relationship.

But next week it looks like a point has come where all the fight has left them. Can they find it in themselves to move forward together?

Ever since the death of their baby girl, Grace, Chas has been lashing out and Paddy has been totally isolated in his grief.

After Paddy returned to work too soon and broke down over the death of a cat, things were even more strained between the couple as Chas just couldn’t reach out to him.

As they both continue to struggle, Chas confides in Lydia about how she’s feeling towards her other half, while Paddy talks to Marlon.

Mr positive Marlon tries to convince Paddy everything will be OK and helps him plan a surprise meal to bring some closeness back to him and Chas.

But it backfires completely when Chas isn’t impressed.

The couple begin to argue and their fight spills from the back room of the Woolpack into the bar.

The shocked punters don’t know what to do and eventually decide to leave the pair to it.

Paddy and Chas barely notice they’ve emptied the Woolie as they continue to yell.

Having had enough and on the edge, Chas orders Paddy to leave.

Alone, a broken Chas rips down all the decorations and falls to the floor sobbing uncontrollably.

It’s Eric Pollard who finds her and decides to reach out, discussing his own experiences with grief and his sad past to try and help Chas to cope with the intense emotions she’s feeling.

Meanwhile, Paddy heads back to Marlon and breaks down. Marlon tries to offer him comfort and tells him they will figure it out, but it’s looking increasingly less likely.

As Chas and paddy come together, can they find a way through this awful time as a partnership? Or has too much happened for them to make it work?

The couple have been through so much, is this really the way their relationship will end?
