Emmerdale veteran Bob Hope is about to be living proof of the familiar saying: “What goes around comes around.”
Karma is about to bite Bob on the behind as he’s dumped by girlfriend Laurel Thomas – and we have our suspicions that he won’t get a whole lot of sympathy from ITV viewers…

After all, this is the man who cheated with Laurel behind the back of his fiancée Brenda. You reap what you sow, Bob!
In upcoming scenes, Laurel will end her relationship with Bob after she walks in on him parading around in his Union Jack boxers at The Woolpack.

The former café worker decides to host a strippers’ night at the local pub, but he doesn’t count on Laurel arriving and breaking up with him.
Viewers know that she’s actually been trying to break up with him for a while now, and admitted she didn’t love him on firework night.
The following scenes show Bob embarrassed and distraught as he struggles with single life.
Clearly unable to be alone, Bob wonders if Brenda would have him back – but he overhears Brenda telling Doug she has no intention of getting back together with her estranged husband.
Unaware that Bob has heard everything, she makes it clear it would be better if he left.
A devastated Bob creeps downstairs with his tail between his legs, having heard every word…
Will Brenda’s words prompt Bob to consider his next move and even leave the village for good?
After all, he has burnt several bridges over the years and we’re not sure who will have him romantically any more!
