It’s the reunion EastEnders fans have been waiting for… When Alfie Moon returns to Walford and sees his missus Kat Slater.
It will be the first time they’ve been on screen together since their spin-off six-part series Redwater in May 2017.

And it’s bound to be just as dramatic, with a secret the size of an iceberg between them.
Viewers know that the tempestuous couple have been in trouble since the happenings in Ireland when both of them nearly died.
They eventually ended up in Spain, and fans were horrified to learn the real reason Kat returned to Albert Square alone was because her son Ernie had been badly burned.

Due to Kat’s negligence – sleeping with Russian called Dmitri when she should have been watching her kids – Ernie got scalded by a kettle of boiling water and could have died.
He required skin grafts and will never be the same again.
Alfie has struggled to forgive his wife, but isn’t exactly squeaky clean himself after sleeping with Hayley Slater and getting her pregnant – something Kat has yet to learn.
So all the baggage and heartache and pain will be in the room with them when they meet again tonight (Thursday 15 November).
Kat is shocked when she receives a video call from Alfie who needs her help, but when she follows his instructions, she is stunned to find him waiting for her.
However, Kat’s hopes at seeing her kids are soon dashed when Alfie reveals that they are not with him.
So why IS Alfie back?
And could he eventually get back together with Kat?
Actor Shane Richie, who plays Alfie, obviously believes the pair are meant to be.
Taking to his official Twitter account, he heralded the arrival of his soap character with a message to his fans.
Sharing a photo of character Alfie and his on/off partner Kat, he told his 432,000 followers: “The Greatest Love Story Continues…….”

But Alfie and Kat are both in for huge shocks when the identity of Hayley’s baby becomes public knowledge.
Kat has no idea Hayley’s daughter is the product of a fling with her husband Alfie.
And he believes the baby was terminated. Could this be an indicator of another explosive Christmas Slater storyline?
