In May, Albert Square was left devastated by the tragic death of youngster Shakil Kazemi.

The victim of a brutal stabbing, his life was prematurely ended by a gang of thugs terrorising London.

And his best friend Keegan is one of many wearing the scars of the tragedy – not least because he was stabbed himself and feels partly responsible for Shakil’s demise.

The memory of his mate’s death is never far from his mind… And it’s bought to the forefront next week when another gang arrive in Walford causing trouble.

Keegan cannot just stand by as the rowdy crew threaten the safety of Sharon Mitchell’s 12-year-old son Dennis Rickman.

As Keegan tries to protect the young kid, Keanu gets involved too.

Opting for a ‘relaxed’ childcare system over the summer holidays, Phil dumps his stepson Denny at the Arches and tells mechanic Keanu to keep an eye on him.

Unsurprisingly, the bored boy ends up hanging out with a gang of older lads in McKlunky’s.

In a bid to impress them, he ends up hiding a rucksack for them and secretly stashes it at the garage…

But when Keanu finds it and looks inside, he’s shocked at the contents.

On Tuesday (7 August), Keegan sees the gang attempting to steal a bike. Bringing back horrifying memories of Shakil’s murder, he confronts the group – but flees when they turn on him, bringing back terrible memories.

Even menacing Phil doesn’t manage to scare them off when he sees them skulking around.

Keanu gets involved when he tells the gang off for sending Dennis threatening text messages but, on Thursday (9 August), the Arches is vandalised – a transparent warning from the gang.

Should Keanu tell Phil the truth about the danger Dennis is in?

Or try and deal with the delinquents on his own, putting himself in danger and possibly spilling more blood in Walford?
