The truth comes out when Stacey spots her mum Jean trying to return to return a babygrow she bought for Hayley.

Jean lies and tells Stacey it was for Kim, but Stacey soon realises the story doesn’t add up.

Meanwhile Jean approaches Kim and asks her to cover for her but just as she’s made a deal with Kim, Stacey walks in on Jean adjusting Hayley’s clothes and spots her bump!

Caught out Hayley finally admits that she’s pregnant while Jean begs her not to tell anyone else about the baby.

Stacey reluctantly agrees, but while talking with Jean about who the dad might be, has an awful thought – could it be Martin’s?

He certainly fits the description – a married man of a friend – leaving Stacey feeling uneasy.

With Martin out with the kids, Stacey confronts Kush who declares he knows nothing about anything.

Stacey decides to ask Hayley herself who denies that the baby is Martin’s but she gets annoyed when Stacey continues to press her for answers and blurts out that she can’t wait to leave.

Jean panics when she learns that Hayley is planning to leave that day and takes matters into her own hands.

She announces to the rest of the Slaters that Hayley is expecting. But will it be enough to get her to stay in Walford?

And will anyone guess the true identity of the baby’s father?
