Mitch Baker is back in Albert Square – but it isn’t long before a huge secret catches up with him. Can Karen Taylor cope with another devastating blow from her ex?

Just when we thought we’d seen the last of Mitch after he swanned off into the night with Patrick’s money that he left for Ted and Joyce – he’s back like a bad penny.

When Keegan skips school so that he can spend time with his dad, he thinks they’re going to have a fun day out together.

But Mitch has other ideas and decides to get to the bottom of why his son is avoiding his classes.

Wanting to know why Keegan is in trouble at school, Mitch takes matters into his own hands and invites his teacher over so that his boy can apologise.

But while Keegan might be off the hook at school thanks to his dad’s smooth talking, Karen is fuming to find her ex back on the Square.

And before long Mitch has her eating out of his hand (Credit: BBC)

But when she realises that Mitch has actually done something good for once and helped Keegan at school, Karen softens once again and the pair meet up to see where they stand.

It doesn’t take much for Mitch to win Karen over once again – especially when she wakes the next morning to find him doing her ironing for her. Well, he’s a keeper!

But while Mitch is acting the model father and husband material, it turns out he is harbouring a huge secret that will rock the Taylors once again.

Karen is in for a huge shock on Tuesday 27th March – but will she let Mitch talk his way out of trouble this time, or will be pair be over for good?

EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
