Kat Slater’s secret about her kids unfolds in EastEnders drama

Why doesn't she want to talk about her boys?

Ever since she arrived back in the Square – miraculously not dead after all – Kat Slater has been keeping a big secret.

But that secret is set to be addressed in next week’s EastEnders when Stacey tries to get to the bottom of where Kat’s kids are.

But when Stacey quizzes her about why she can’t just go and visit her boys, Kat clams up and changes the subject.

Deciding that something needs to be done, Stacey joins forces with Big Mo and the pair come up with a plan to reunite Kat with her kids.

But is doesn’t look like their efforts are going to be appreciated when Kat flies off the handle when she realises that her family have been trying to contact Alfie.

So why doesn’t she want anyone talking to Alfie?

Later Stacey is relieved when Kat finally opens up and starts to talk about the children.

And it seems their heart-to-heart has worked when Kat goes to meet the kids, telling Stacey she is taking them to the cinema.

But is all as it seems?

EastEnders airs Monday and Friday at 8pm and Tuesday and Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One.
