Rainie Cross resorts to drastic measures to win Max for real this week, as she realises she has fallen for him.
The pair have been in a sham marriage in a bid to get baby Abi back, but it seems true romance may be on the cards.
In tonight’s episode (August 13), Rainie tries to get Max’s attention, convinced he fancies her, but is shocked to discover he has joined a “no strings attached” dating app.

Feeling brutally rejected, the former prostitute and drug addict decides to take revenge on her pretend hubby by winding him up and messaging a woman on his behalf.
Later in the week, as Max gleefully prepares for a date, Rainie struggles to conceal her jealousy.

So she hatches a cruel plot to stop him going, but it backfires horribly on her.
It’s not long before Max finds out what she was up to and, feeling trapped, Rainie finally admits her true feelings for him.
He reels from the confession and ends up drowning his sorrows in the Vic (where else?!), only to be taken aback when Jessica joins him and offers her thoughts on the pair’s rocky relationship.
But with Rainie taking increasingly desperate steps to win Max’s affections as the week draws to a close, will he remain aloof?
Or will he succumb to temptation and fall for her charms?
