The BBC One soap’s autumn trailer sees Sharon – played by Letitia Dean – fearing for her life that someone will tell all about their secret schmoozing, after her and Keanu (Danny Walters) get hot and steamy once again in the garage only to be disturbed by a loud bang.

She says: “If whoever it is tells Phil…”

But Keanu replies: “No one is going to tell Phil.”

Elsewhere, it doesn’t look like being a happy autumn for Mick Carter (Danny Dyer) as calculated Stuart Highway (Ricky Champ) looks to have turned the Queen Vic landlord’s wife Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) against him.

Mick has been banged up recently after Stuart claimed he shot him, and while Linda has been fully supportive of the love of her life, her patience looks set to wear thin.

The opening of the trailer sees her slam down Mick’s framed West Ham shirt onto the pavement outside the pub, resulting in it smashing, before inviting Stuart inside.

Later in the clip, she tells her family: “Mick shot him, he tried to kill hi… left him for dead.”

But Mick’s auntie Tina Carter (Luisa Bradshaw-White) fires back: “He didn’t.”

Linda then shouts: “Open your eyes!”

What’s more, Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) looks to have rumbled Hayley Slater’s (Katie Jarvis) baby secret.

She has managed to keep schtum that her unborn child’s father is in fact her second cousin Kat Moon’s (Jessie Wallace) husband Alfie Moon (Shane Richie), but Jean asks her: “Is that Alfie’s baby?”
