Kasey Ainsworth hints at EastEnders return with a Danny Dyer snog condition

Kacey Ainsworth talked about a return on Loose Women

Kasey Ainsworth today revealed her EastEnders character Little Mo could return to Albert Square — but only if she gets to snog Danny Dyer!

Speaking as a guest panellist on Loose Women, the actress said an imminent return was not possible because of other work commitments, including starring in Grantchester.

But she confirmed that she is still close friends with the on-screen Slater family and that a return to the show was being considered.

Host Coleen Nolan asked her this afternoon: “I have to ask that question you probably get asked a million times, but would you consider going back?”

Kacey said: “It is asked a million times and it’s really lovely, very flattering, because she was such a great character.

“I’m still in contact with all my screen sisters. We’re really close. We talked a lot in the past about going back.

“The writers on EastEnders are amazing and brilliant and my old boss is there now.

“We talked lots of different storylines but I’m so busy with Grantchester. I’m filming all summer and Grantchester is a global programme now.

“I’m also filming in America, so it would have to be logistically right.”

She said she would only return if the plot was right for Little Mo.

“I loved her so much. She was such a brilliant character. I wouldn’t want to dilute her by going back with anything,” said Kacey.

Pressing her for an answer, Coleen asked: “So it’s not a definite no?”

Kacey replied: “It’s never been a definite no.” And she joked: “I think I will have to have a rider.

“I’ll only go back if I can get behind the Queen Vic and have a snog with Danny Dyer!”
