Rana is left shaken next week when she learns that her dad Hassan has been rushed to hospital.
Early in the week, the nurse is heartbroken when her brother Imran is invited to her dad’s 60th birthday party, but she isn’t.
Rana’s parents turned their backs on their daughter earlier this year when they discovered that she was having an affair with Kate Connor.
Imran is livid when he learns that Rana has been overlooked and refuses to go to the party.

But Rana persuades her brother to go to the party as she says Hassan would only blame her if Imran didn’t show up.
Imran reluctantly agrees and heads off to the party, leaving Rana feeling sad as he heads off suited and booted to the do.
Things don’t go to plan at the birthday bash though and later, a devastated Rana tells Kate that she’s had a call from Imran at the party.
She explains that her dad has collapsed at the party and an ambulance has been called.
Rana heads to the hospital where Imran tells her that their dad has suffered a stroke.
She’s devastated and it’s made worse when their mum Saira tells Rana she’s not welcome at the hospital and bans her from visiting her dad.
Imran steps in and points out to Saira that if Hassan dies she will have denied him his last chance to see his daughter, but will his words sink in?
Rana confronts her mum and tells her that if she hadn’t been barred from Hassan’s party she might have been able to recognise his symptoms and possibly have saved his life.
Heartbroken Rana confides in Kate that the hospital refuses to talk about her dad’s condition with her a Saira has told them she’s estranged from the family.
Imran takes Rana to the hospital and persuades Saira to let her into the meeting with the consultant.
Their mum reluctantly agrees but makes it clear that Rana is just the interpreter.
Will she have a change of heart before it’s too late and Rana misses the chance to say good bye to her father?
Rana’s parents were last seen earlier this year when Saira tried to kidnap her and send her to Pakistan.
They lied that Saira’s sister was unwell and Rana offered to accompany her mum on her trip.
But they’d secretly only bought a one-way ticket and planned to keep Rana in Pakistan against her will to keep her away from Kate.
