Craig had no idea that his new ‘girlfriend’ is really just a fraud, out to get vengeance on the wrongs she believes were committed against her dad Neil.
Former policeman Neil is currently serving time for grooming and raping Bethany. He is guilty as sin, but has persuaded his daughter he’s innocent and was set up.
While Kayla is also a victim of sorts, it won’t stop Corrie fans from hating her just a bit when she continues to use Craig as a pawn in her sick game.

On Friday, just days after learning her dad lost his appeal, Kayla steps up her campaign when she spitefully uses Craig’s Obsessive Compulsive Disorder to her advantage.
After losing his virginity to her, a smitten Craig tidies up his flat to his exacting standards and the pair head to the Bistro.
However, while there, Kayla steals his keys from his pocket as part of her latest plan… But what is she up to?
Before long, she has Craig exactly where she wants him – and he’s in grave danger.
Making the most of Craig’s distressed state, Kayla tries to persuade him that his condition means he should quit his career in the police force.

Things get worse for both Craig and Bethany in horrifying future scenes, but then Kayla also has devastating news just around the corner…
In an interview with the Radio Times, Mollie Winnard spoke about her character’s campaign, saying: “When Neil loses his appeal that is the moment everything switches for Kayla.
“Her plan is back on. She believes Craig knows Bethany lied about Neil and that he can’t cope with it, and that is what has triggered his OCD so she is trying to bring it back up. […] She is definitely messing with Craig.
“Anyone who gets in her way is in danger,” she warned.
