Sean’s secret is out and 5 other Corrie spoilers for next week

A packed week in Weatherfield

There’s drama on the cobbles as Sean’s awful secret is discovered, Henry plots an audacious scam after being threatened by heavies and Audrey is held hostage by her own family!

Sean’s secret is out

Sean’s homeless nightmare comes to an end as he finally swallows his pride and seeks help from friends, but not before one last fight.

Billy bumps into him waiting for a handout at the Red Rec food van, but Sean pretends he’s volunteering there as a cover story.

But the truth soon comes out after Carol collapses following an attack and Billy helps Sean take her to hospital, where he breaks down and admits he’s been sleeping rough.

At first Sean refuses Billy and Eileen’s help but Carol urges him not to end up like her on the streets and he relents, accepting a place to sleep on Billy’s sofa.

And it’s all looking up as Carla offers him his job back at the factory. But will it last?

Audrey betrays Gail

They say a leopard can’t change its spots, only it seems no one has told Audrey who’s fallen again for swindler Lewis’s charms.

She’s convinced he’s a changed man but, with the small matter of the £40,000 he stole from Gail, which he returned last week, Audrey decides it’s best not to tell her daughter the truth.

So, in order to spend time with Lewis, she lies that she’s won a cruise, a fib that unravels when Gail discovers the ship she’s apparently sailing on is no longer in service.

Worried about her mum, she goes round to her house and is shocked to see her enjoying a romantic meal with Lewis.

The Platts take Audrey hostage

With the cat out of the bag, Audrey begs Gail to give Lewis her blessing but it falls on deaf ears and her daughter gives her an ultimatum — she must choose between them.

Fearing her mother has fallen under Lewis’s spell again, she appeals for help from David who summons Audrey to the salon.

Sally finds crucial evidence

During a barbecue at Geoff’s, Sally discovers the incriminating mobile phone that conman Duncan has used to frame her by writing fake texts from about their supposed “affair” to himself.

He’s hidden it in the gutter and, with horror, Sally and Tim realise it’s the burner device the police are looking for.

New-look Rovers Return

It’s all change at the Rovers as Johnny agrees to Jenny’s refurb, but Michelle and Robert worry about the impact their plans to turn it into a gastropub will have on them.

Their fears are anything but allayed when the new landlord and landlady refuse to let them have a peek at the work until the grand reopening on Friday night.

When they finally open their doors, everyone is stunned by what they find.

Henry’s vile scam

Gemma and Henry are thrilled when Johnny and Jenny agree to employ them at the pub, but they fail to spot two sinister-looking men watching on.

The thugs accost Henry and demand £20,000 to repay Cressida’s family for the wedding costs.

Feeling cornered, Henry is asked to change a barrel during a lock-in at the Rovers’ relaunch but, while in the cellar, he concocts a scheme to get his hands on the money.

The regulars hear a scream and Henry is found with a broken arm and is threatening to sue Johnny and Jenny. How convenient?
