Coronation Street’s Michelle Connor showed off a new look last night – and fans were quick to give their verdict.
Michelle, played by actress Kym Marsh, revealed a stylish alteration to her glossy locks during scenes which aired on Wednesday night (12 December).

And (most) fans seemed to love the change.
During the episode, Michelle was seen having to apologise to customers at the Bistro after a power cut left them in darkness.
But ITV viewers were more fixated on her new fringe than her work woes!

One wrote: “Loving @msm4rsh new hairstyle in tonight’s #Corrie.”
Another added: “Completely lush new barnet, Michelle. @MsM4rsh #Corrie.”
A third chipped in, saying: “Ooooh I like Michelle’s new hair #Corrie.”
“LOVE Michelle’s hair and the fringe makes her look so much younger!!! Great job!” gushed one more.

Not everyone liked it, though, with one saying: “Not a fan of Michelle’s new hair do – very much copied the Sophie Webster.”
Another simply stated: “I don’t like Michelle hair in Corrie. Sorry.”
Others accused her of copying Sophie Webster’s style and of imitating Strictly Come Dancing’s Claudia Winkleman.

In fact, actress Kym had her fringe cut several weeks ago and had already shown it off on her official social media accounts.
She recently showed off her new look when she turned on the Christmas lights at Manchester salon and spa House of Evelyn – a favourite among the Corrie cast.
Kym also regularly posts photos with her 21-year-old daughter Emilie.

Proud mum Kym recently announced the exciting news that her daughter is pregnant with her first child, which will make Kym a grandmother at 42.
Kym admitted she can’t wait to be a “young grandmother” and gushed that she’s “over the moon” by the news.
The former Hear’Say member is also a mum to son David, 23, and seven-year-old daughter Polly. Kym tragically lost her son Archie in 2009.
