Coronation Street fave Alan Hansall turned 36 yesterday – and his work pals have been sharing their favourite snaps with him on social media to celebrate.
Newly-single Alan may be keeping himself trim these days, but it is clear he can still poke fun at his appearance… especially from years gone by.
Among the throwback pics were absolutely smashing shots from longtime castmates Samia Longchambon (Maria) and Brooke Vincent (Sophie).

Samia shared an image of the pair from when they were just 17, fondly calling the Tyrone Dobbs actor her “brother from another mother”.
“Surprised the fringe police didn’t get us for this crime against hair!” she joked in the caption.
Brooke meanwhile wished her “lovely friend” all the birthday best with a photo from – presumably – a night out in fancy dress in a Burberry cap.
As Alan replied with a facepalm emoji, it seems the outfit has not featured heavily in his wardrobe since.

Co-stars Jenni McAlpine (Fizz), Andy Whyment (Kirk) and Sam Aston (Chesney) also posted photos to mark Alan’s big day.
And the Weatherfield veteran of 20 years was obviously pleased as punch with his friends’ light mickey-taking as he tweeted and re-shared their posts to his 274,000 Twitter followers and 74,000 Instagram fans.
Jenni hailed her on-screen fella as “the coolest and best partner in crime” while Andy revealed he had been friends with Alan for nearly three decades as he passed on his birthday wishes.
Sam meanwhile posted a pic of him and Alan clinking champagne flutes in a limo as they toasted a day out at the horses.
“Living our best life at Cheltenham,” the caption read.
“Hope you have a top day.”
