Corrie SPOILER: Final twist revealed for homeless Sean

The future's bright for Corrie favourite

Sean Tully has been down on his luck lately — and it’s going to get worse before it gets better.

But the good news for the Coronation Street favourite is that salvation is just around the corner, as his homeless nightmare finally ends next week.

It’s all thanks to his ex-partner, Billy Mayhew, who comes to the rescue and makes him see sense and accept help.

Sean has been living rough at the Red Rec, after being kicked out by Fiz, while insisting to friends that all is well.

The wheels start to come off tonight (August 13), though, as barman Sean is fired from the Rovers for apparently helping himself to a vodka, which is actually intended for his homeless friend Frank.

It comes as a major setback for Sean who later hits rock bottom when he tells Carol that he’s completely penniless.

Her advice is to start begging because he doesn’t have an alternative, although he’s appalled at the thought.

With no choice, he sits on a street corner wrapped in his sleeping bag and, when a child drops a pound coin into his empty mug, it’s all too much and he begins to cry.

By Friday, still ashamed, he begs outside the hospital but scarpers when he spots Billy and Rana approaching.

But ITV has confirmed on its official Corrie website that Sean will bounce back next week.

Billy steps in to help when his friend Carol is attacked, and encourages his former flame to swallow his pride and accept help.

A post on the site said: “Billy helps Sean take Carol to hospital after running into them whilst volunteering at a soup van.
