Corrie SPOILER: Abi devastated as son launches custody battle for her twins

Seb launches a bid to become legal guardian to Charlie and Lexie

Abi Franklin just can’t seem to catch a break.

More recently she’s had the worst best friend ever (toxic Tracy Barlow) totally throw her under the bus by setting her up for murder, while in the past she’s been a heroin addict and the victim of domestic abuse.

Viewers know that Abi’s twins are currently in foster care after Abi relapsed and was unfit to be their carer – but she’s never given up hope of getting them back.

However, she is dealt a devastating blow in the coming weeks as her older son Seb attempts to adopt them himself – with the help of Abi’s mother figure Eileen Grimshaw.

The 17-year-old launches a bid to become legal guardian to his younger siblings Charlie and Lexie, as his mum Abi faces prison.

Poor Abi is innocent, but has been framed for tampering with Michelle Connor’s car and causing the fatal car crash that led to the death of Roman Truman.

The Sun reveals that: “Abi is going to be dealt a new blow in the coming weeks.”

The insider continues: “Seb launches a bid to become the legal guardian of his brother and sister.

“It means the kids would come and live with them and Seb would be responsible for them until he’s 18 when he can officially adopt them, so Abi can never get custody.”

Last week, Abi revealed her plans to put the twins up for adoption after losing all hope due to the police investigation.

Abi is currently behind bars, where she’s expected to stay until the New Year.

Fans have been furious with the storyline, as scheming Tracy seems to have once again gotten away with murder (literally in this case).

One fan slammed: “Tracy gets away with everything and it’s not fair.”

“Tracy is two-faced,” blasted another, while one more called her “evil” and “poison”.

Does Tracy deserve to go to jail or was it a forgivable mistake? Leave us a comment on our Facebook page @EntertainmentDailyFix and let us know what you think!
