Weatherfield fave is mowed down

Coronation Street’s Liz McDonald will be left fighting for her life this Christmas when she is mowed down by a motor.

A source told The Sun: “Liz’s attempted murder is one of the big Christmas storylines.

“Johnny is the one who initially arrested for it, but fingers are eventually pointed at Jenny.”

As well as being arrested, Johnny will face a crisis at work as local cobbles residents threaten to boycott his and Jenny’s Rovers Return pub.

“Scenes where Johnny was arrested were filmed last month, and the Weatherfield locals weren’t happy.”
