Love Island’s Dani Dyer has explained why she was pictured last week sobbing while taking a phone call in her car.
The 22-year-old daughter of EastEnders actor Danny Dyer sparked concern among fans after paparazzi snaps were published showing her looking upset as she sat in the car park of a gym on the phone.
But appearing on Love Island: The Reunion on Sunday night, the former barmaid cleared up the situation by insisting they had been HAPPY tears!

Dani said she’d been catching up with fellow Love Island star Samira Mighty, who had been filling Dani in on her romance with co-star Frankie Foster.
Dani explained: “I was talking to Samira! It was when she was telling me Frankie told her that he loved her. I was going, ‘Oh my God!’ I weren’t even crying! I use expressions and that.”
She added: “It’s quite scary someone was videoing me, I don’t like that.”
Dani’s boyfriend, Jack Fincham, said he hadn’t been with Dani at the time she took the phone call, but confirmed: “She was happy crying!”
The couple won the 2018 series of Love Island last week, sharing the £50,000 prize.
They told Love Island host Caroline Flack that their romance has been going from strength to strength outside the villa and hinted they’ve now joined the ‘Do Bits Society’ after abstaining from sex while on the show.
Jack said he’s yet to meet Dani’s famous dad in person, but they’ve been texting “quite a lot”.
He added: “He likes me! I look forward to meeting him in real life. I’m more scared of her mum!”
Jack also said: “I really, really love Dani and I’ve not felt this way before. My mum said to me that when you meet someone you know. And I feel that way about Dani.”
Dani agreed: “It’s been really good with Jack. He just makes me feel all the happiness in the world. We’ve had such a laugh together and haven’t left each other’s side. He gives me no reason not to trust him and we plan our future together. I’ve never been able to plan my future with someone and it’s exciting.”
Next up for the couple could be getting a dog… although it seems Jack is more keen on that idea than Dani!
Jack said, “who doesn’t love dogs?” while Dani admitted concerns she’d be the one doing the majority of looking after the pup!
The couple also joked they’ve been using their £50,000 prize money on eating out!
“All we’ve been doing is eating, literally,” said Jack, adding: “We haven’t thought about [what we’ll do with it] yet, but we’ll probably put something towards the house.”
They previously confirmed plans to move in together.
Both Dani and Jack said rumours of an impending marriage aren’t true, saying they have no plans to rush down the aisle.

Jack said: “Listen, we will get married eventually but not in the next year. Come on!”
Dani added: “Not next year. We want to enjoy it all. Marriage is stress! I will stress out and be a bridezilla!”
