Kim Woodburn set to return to Big Brother house

This is going to be great!

| Updated:

Kim Woodburn is apparently set for a return to the Big Brother house this week for a task.

The former housemate sparked controversy with her outspoken antics when she appeared on the celebrity edition of the show last year, and it’s said bosses want her back on the civilian version this week.

With the programme ending its long run on Channel 5 on Monday 5 November, according to The Sun, Kim will be brought in for a special secret task.

Producers are said to be keen to do everything they can to make sure the reality show ends on a high.

During her time on Celebrity Big Brother in January 2017, Kim clashed with the likes of Jessica Cunningham, Chloe Ferry and James Jordan, while her infamous row with Coleen Nolan has continued even after they both moved on from the programme.

The Nolan Sisters singer is currently on a hiatus from Loose Women – and cancelled plans for a solo tour – following a backlash after the two former housemates clashed on the daytime panel show over the summer.

The pair had been at loggerheads ever since they starred on the Channel 5 reality show last year, and fans had tuned into Loose Women hoping to see the pair reconcile.

But viewers were left shocked when 76-year-old Kim branded Coleen “lying trash” and a “piece of filth” before storming off the set after a heated row.

When some critics then took Kim’s side and blasted Coleen on social media, she was reduced to tears during a live TV interview on This Morning, and said she considered walking away from her showbiz career entirely.

It hasn’t been confirmed when she will return to Loose Women.

Meanwhile, Big Brother is set to finish next week after bosses confirmed they were dropping the show earlier this year.

In a statement, the show said: “The forthcoming series of Big Brother will be the last – of either celebrity or civilian versions – on Channel 5.

“We’d like to thank Endemol and all of the production team who have worked tirelessly to make the show a success.

“We’d also like to thank our brilliant presenters – Emma [Willis] on Big Brother and Rylan [Clark-Neal] from Bit on the Side – for their consummate professionalism, Marcus, the voice of Big Brother and all of the housemates who have created so many memorable moments.

“Most importantly, we’d like to thank fans of the show for their support over the last seven years. ‘We look forward to giving the final series a brilliant send-off.”
