Zayn Malik’s MUM in row with Little Mix fans after ‘liking’ comment

She appeared to agree with a negative opinion on Perrie

The women in Zayn Malik’s family are a feisty brood.

Last month his sister Doniya slammed Scarlett Moffatt on Twitter after the Takeaway star criticised the way he dumped former fiancée Perrie Edwards.

Now his mum Trisha has found herself embroiled in a spat on social media.

On Good Friday the 47-year-old proudly shared a picture of some flowers on Instagram.

The proud mama captioned the snap: “From my sonshine and gigi [sic]”, alongside “love them”.

Zayn 24, and supermodel girlfriend Gigi had ordered the bouquet to congratulate Trisha on the opening of her new beauty salon in Bradford, which her famous son has invested in.

So far, so lovely.

But then Mama Malik made the mistake of liking a comment from a fan who slammed Little Mis star Perrie’s behaviour since splitting with her boy in 2015.

Perrie’s fans are notoriously protective and soon leapt to the singer’s defence, throwing some very unpleasant insults her way.

Trisha was quick to defend her actions and her truth, writing: “I honestly don’t have anything against Perrie, I never have n I never will.”

Later, as the abuse continued, she added: “I don’t hate Perrie or anyone for that matter.”

Clearly feeling the pressure of the intense attack, the mum-of-four then posted: “This is the reason I don’t come on to social media, because everything u do always gets blown up in to some big drama.”

She also denied that she had even liked the derogatory post about Perrie in the first place, protesting: “I didn’t like this comment, I must of pressed it by mistake as I was going through them, so please don’t say things about me that r not true.”
