X Factor star admits she would love a role on EastEnders

The singer is changing up her career and would love to be an actress

Despite having a successful singing career Sam Bailey has revealed she wants to try out acting and revealed her dream job would be on EastEnders.

The singer admitted she would love to become a resident on Albert Square and has already started auditioning for different acting roles.

But will the star be offered the opportunity to star in the BBC soap?

Speaking to Reveal magazine the 39-year-old said: “My dream role is Nancy in Oliver!, and off-stage I’d also love to be cast in EastEnders.

“I’d like to play someone funny, someone with a bit of character.

“I just want to get on and do it, so I’m auditioning for stuff.”

Sam, who previously worked as a prison warden, rose to fame after winning The X Factor in 2013.

And since her X Factor days the star has had a pretty dramatic transformation.

Sam admitted she’s had botox and fillers as well as closing the gap between her front teeth.

Speaking about her transformation on Loose Women Sam said: “Right OK, let’s set the record straight.

“As a singer I couldn’t have lip fillers. So I decided, because I’ve got a really expressive face, to have some botox.”

She added: “And I was really scared but I have to say I don’t suffer from migraines any more.

“And I’m 40 this year so I’m going to be having a little bit more for my 40th. Plus I’m on tour and I want to feel good.”

And the star’s fans are definitely full of support for the singer.

In a snap earlier this year Sam looked as radiant as ever showing off her new glasses as she wrote: “Love my new specs so much xx.”

One fan wrote: “Sam is very beautiful.”

“Sam you look stunning,” another gushed.

A third commented: “Looking fabulous Sam.”
