She's not having a great run up to Christmas

Grace Davies didn’t win The X Factor this year, coming in second place to eventual winners Rak-Su.

And her luck got even worse today when she revealed she had just been robbed in broad daylight.

The singer took to Twitter to express her shock at being relieved of some Christmas shopping she had just been out buying.

She tweeted: “Man on train just ran past me and grabbed one of my shopping bags with part of my friends Christmas present in it! Enjoy your photo frame and jelly sweets you Grinch xxxxxxxxx”

After fans rushed to offer messages of concern, Grace tweeted again, saying: “My life is literally drama after drama. Someone make a film.”

The 20-year-old is a regular user of social media, but wouldn’t have expected to be making today’s tweets.

Responding to a concerned fan about the robbery, Grace revealed the monetary value of the items stolen was quite low – just £8 – but she also said: “Still not very nice.”

Another fan replied by saying: “Horrific Grace, hope he chokes on the sweets!”

Grace wowed fans on the way to the X Factor final, where she lost out to boy band Rak-Su.

She was picked as one-to-watch by Sharon Osborne, and was rumoured to have struck up a romance with fellow contestant Matt Linnen while inside the contestants’ house.

It’s been something of a bad week for Grace – she also revealed through her Twitter feed that her bank card had been cloned.

She posted an image from her bank which showed attempted transactions being made in Indonesia – although she was in London at the time!
