Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo may lose 30% of £1m earnings to ITV after I’m A Celeb win

Her contract may mean she has no choice

| Updated:

She’s set for a hefty payday after being crowned this year’s Queen of the Jungle on I’m A Celeb.

However, it seems that Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo may be forced to cough up as much as 30 percent of her suspected £1m earnings to ITV, according to a report today.

According to the Daily Mail, Toff signed a contract with the channel that compels her to give them the cut of all earnings made up to 45 days after the show.

The contract is said to be ‘standard’ ITV procedure.

The Daily Mail says: “The earnings clause, which is in force for 45 days following the end of the show, applies to public appearances, contracts and endorsements.”

Toff was a breakout star of this year’s series, and is predicted to rake it in as the face of fashion brands, product endorsements and more TV appearances.

Last year’s winner Scarlett Moffatt is proof of the success a jungle victory can bring.

The Gogglebox star landed a presenting gig on the spin-off show Extra Camp, wrote a (second!) autobiography and released her own fitness DVD.

And it’s not just Scarlett that has seen her showbiz career go from strength to strength after winning the show.

Young female winners often go on to bigger and better things.

2010 winner Stacey Solomon, at the time best known for an X Factor appearance, now serves as a Loose Women regular and was an Extra Camp presenter last year.

2015 champ Vicky Pattison headed down the presenter route too, also doing stints on Loose Women and the Extra Camp show, as well as appearances on This Morning.

Seems like Toff won’t be doing too badly, despite the sizeable chunk of cash going to ITV…
