Viewers scratching their heads as Bradley Walsh gatecrashes This Morning’s big moment

Holly and Phil had just won at the NTAs

You wouldn’t have made a fortune by betting on This Morning to win Best Daytime Show at the National Television Awards.

After all, they’ve picked up about half a dozen of them – and more under different names in years gone by, like Live Magazine Show or Factual Programme.

So it wasn’t much of a shock to see Holly and Phil take to the stage to pick up the gong last night, beating out The Chase, Loose Women and Saturday Kitchen, among others, to the title.

However, what DID come a surprise was a cheeky stage invader who wormed his way onto the stage alongside This Morning’s copious cast and crew.

It was none other than Bradley Walsh, who was clearly piqued that The Chase didn’t pick up the win!

It took a few moments for Holly and Phil to clock the interloper, as they were making sweet speeches about how much they love working together.

Phil said how lucky he was to work with someone he adores, and Holly returned the compliment – also taking the opportunity to big up the This Morning team.

But after spotting Bradley, she joked: “And Bradley Walsh! What a devil. Bradley Walsh is our new doctor, he’s taking over sexual health.

“So if anyone’s got an issue, come and see Doctor Brad!”

And Phil hollered: “When did you start here?”

Fans found Bradley’s stage invasion absolutely hilarious, and took to Twitter to share their amusement.

One wrote: “Can we make sure nothing ever happens to @BradleyWalsh please. He’s too precious and hilarious”.

Another said: “Bradley Walsh going on the stage has made my whole year” followed up for several cry-laughing emojis.

After the This Morning massive had exited the stage, Dermot quipped: “Oh, God… let’s all remember this moment.

“Because fast forward twelve hours tomorrow… it will all look very, very different.”

He was right to as well, because Phil shouted: “It’s party time!” as he left the stage – hope they’ve all stocked up on paracetamol for this morning!
