Viewers react badly to Kerry, Stacey and Coleen’s performance

We thought it might be a little bit better than that!

Loose Women celebrated their 18th birthday in style today by not only taking viewers on a trip down memory lane, but also treating them to a rousing sing song.

To mark the show’s anniversary, Loose Women panelists from the past returned to the show to look back at their first shows and wince when they heard back some of their most embarrassing comments made on the show.

But there was more to come.

At one point it was announced that the “singers” on the panel – Kerry Katona, Coleen Nolan and Stacey Solomon – were going to take the floor and sing a song.

With a decades of musical experience behind them, viewers were agog with excitement, eager to hear three accomplished singers belt out a fun party tune.

However, when the girls started singing Ladies Night, decked out in leather jackets, viewers were begging for them to stop.

It’s not that they were bad….

Well, actually, they were.

The verses proved to be a challenge for the singers before they came together to sing in unison during the chorus.

One viewer raged: “Literally gritting my teeth cringing at the singing on @loosewomen. #Embarrassing #KaraokeFriday.”

Another said: “Jesus wept! It’s like watching your you [BLEEP] head mother and her mates do karaoke after their 4th bottle of shiraz #LooseWomen.”

A third sniped: “Jesus Christ I think even Katie Price could’ve sung better than this.”

A fourth commentator claimed to have stumbled across the programme by chance.

“This is possibly the most cringe thing I’ve ever accidentally switched on to. My ears will never recover #LooseWomen.”

But that wasn’t the only Loose Women drama today – Carol McGiffin lashed out at producers for not including her in the celebratory montages.
