Viewers mock Katie Price’s bizarre DIY technique

Someone needs to call a handyman

You know what it’s like when it’s after midnight, the kids are in bed, and you really feel like doing your back in with some painstaking labour?

No, we don’t know what that’s like either. Katie Price does though, as she got down to a spot of late-night DIY, taking to Instagram to document her process.

Katie decided to oil her kitchen floor by hand, and posted some updates letting fans know how she was getting on.

In the first, she showed off her incredible abs while brandishing her brush and oil pot.

And the second update is what really confused fans – as it showed a time-lapse video, which must have taken ages to film, showing her painstakingly going over every inch of the floor – with a TINY brush.

The mum-of-five captioned the clip “Getting my paint on”, and to be fair to her she really was going for it, barely stopping to take a breath.

Many of Katie’s followers praised her for doing the chore herself, but a much greater number wanted a question answered: Why on earth was she using such a small brush?

“Babe use a roller”, wrote one, while another advised: “You need a roller KP! A brush will take you forever!”

It’s not the first DIY project Katie has tackled this week, as she got everyone talking when she posted a video of her newly-revamped bedroom.

In the video there were framed photos of Katie and husband Kieran Hayler on the bedside cabinet, suggesting that their rift is currently healed.

In the suitably bling bedroom, perched happily on a nightstand is a sweet snap of the pair of them in happier times.

And there were other hints revealed in other pictures dotted around the room as well, leaving fans unsure whether the former glamour model and Keiran, 30, were still together or not.

Katie, if you’re on the hunt for more odd jobs this week, you can come and clean out our fridge.

We’ve had some hummus in there since New Year that we’re really not sure about.
