Yesterday was James “Arg” Argent’s 30th birthday, ladies and gentlemen! While you celebrated in your own ways, Arg took to Instagram to post a throwback snap.
The sweet picture featured a young Arg – around 30 years ago, to be precise – in the arms of his mum Patricia and… Arg?
No, it’s not a work of image manipulation – the man is actually Arg’s dad, Martin.
Arg the younger captioned the snap: “I’ve had the most amazing birthday I could of wished for!!! Here’s me with my parents around 30 years ago. Ringer for my dad!!!”
Of course, fans were quick to agree with the uncanny resemblance, with one writing that Arg was like a “Mini-me.”

Another commented: “Wow you’re the spit of your dad, actually thought that was you for a sec.”
Arg has had a troubled year, and spent some time at a rehab facility in Thailand – where he vowed to make his dad “proud again.”
He shared a selfie at the time with his father, who was visiting him.
James shed four stone and dealt with further personal issues while staying at the clinic, and came out to rave reviews from his supporters.
After that, he gave his confidence a further boost by undergoing a nose job, something he said he’d wanted for a long time, but decided to go for after losing weight.
One thing that hasn’t changed, however, is Arg’s rollercoaster relationship with TOWIE co-star Gemma Collins.
The GC has put herself out there a few times asking him to commit to a relationship, but so far Arg hasn’t given in to her charms.

If and when Arg has a baby, we wonder if the super-strong Argent genes will be passed down once again.
