Former TOWIE star Jake Hall and his Real Housewives of Cheshire star girlfriend Misse Beqiri have announced their newborn daughter’s rather unusual name.
The reality TV couple revealed on Friday they’d welcomed their first child together at St Mary’s Hospital in London.
And now they’ve revealed the little girl’s name: River.
Misse shared the child’s name via an intimate Instagram post on Sunday evening, which featured a photo of her wearing a hospital gown and cradling River.

She wrote: “Our new blessing River, before you were born we dreamed of you, now that you are here you have completed us.”
“I love you more than anything and I forever will,” she added.
“My girl I’m so proud of you.”
The couple were inundated with messages from friends and fans, including one who said: “Congratulations to you all such a beautiful gift a daughter & a lovely name.”
A second said: “Congratulations to your baby girl! Hope you had a beautiful and safe delivery. Once again you’ve chosen one of my favourite names for your child.”
And a third wrote: “This is absolutely beautiful xx congratulations to you both of your baby girl River xxxx wish you a lifetime of happiness xx lots of love.”
They aren’t the first celebrity couple to choose the name River for their little one: Jamie and Jools Oliver have a son named River Rocket, while American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson has a daughter, River Rose.
Misse’s beautiful photo of herself and River came after Essex star Jake posted one of his own on Friday evening, announcing the tot’s birth.
In the snap he was seen lying on a hospital bed with one protective hand clutching his tiny daughter’s fingers.
He captioned it: “Welcome to the world my beautiful little girl, I couldn’t be more proud of you, I love you so much! If only words could describe how I feel.”

This is Jake’s first child and Misse’s second: she also has son Julian, three, from a previous relationship.
The couple confirmed the pregnancy in July following months of speculation.
Jake and Misse began dating in 2016 after Jake split from long-term girlfriend and former TOWIE co-star Chloe Lewis.
