Prince William and Kate Middleton aren’t the only ones who’ll be welcoming a new addition to their family imminently – Tom Daley and his husband Dustin Lance Black are about to become dads, too.
And the couple are clearly excited about their little one’s arrival, as they’ve been sharing pictures of their “surprise” baby shower on social media.
Olympic diver Tom, 23, and his screenwriter husband, 43, looked well chuffed as they prepared for fatherhood with a lavish spread of food and some comedy fashion accessories.
And fans of the pair joined in the happy moment, ‘showering’ them with congratulatory messages.
Tom took to Instagram to share a picture of him and Dustin holding baby bottles and sporting oversized specs that bore the words ‘Oh baby!’. He captioned his shot: “SUPRISE [sic] BABY SHOWER.”
And Dustin followed suit, giving his Instagram followers an eyeful of the buffet the couple were laying on for their guests. He accompanied the snap with the words: “DADS to be. #BabyShower!”
Fans of the pair – who got married last year – loved the shots and wasted no time in sending their warmest wishes.
One wrote: “You guys are so beautifully inspirational.”

Another predicted: “You will both be amazing dads. Can’t wait to see your journey.”
And a third fan gushed: “This is the cutest thing in the world.”
Meanwhile, Tom has confessed that becoming a father has made him fearful of DYING.
Appearing on The Andrew Marr Show today, he revealed how a minor incident on a long-haul flight had left him feeling terrified.
He told the presenter: “[Fatherhood] changes your perspective on so many different levels.
“I was on the way home from Australia and there was turbulence. Normally I’m completely fine, but now I’m like: ‘I’ve got a little child to look after – I can’t die!’
“The way you think about the world changes so dramatically.”

Tom and Lance announced their baby news on February 14, sharing a picture of the scan on Tom’s Instagram page.
The picture of the surrogate child was captioned: “Happy Valentine’s Day!”
