Viewers were stunned when the actress revealed where she had grown up

We’re sure, like us, you’ve heard your fair share of mighty big revelations over the years.

You know, like that time it was discovered that Daisy Lowe’s secret father was actually Gavin Rossdale.

Or that Prince Charles had been having it away with Camilla for years without poor Princess Di knowing! (Or did she?)

But none of those outrageous bombshells can compare to the shock This Morning viewers experienced when they tuned into today’s show.

One of the guests was Neighbours legend Jackie Woodburne who has played Susan Kennedy on the show for 22 years!

During the chat the Aussie star revealed a surprise fact – that she grew up in Northern Ireland.

Yes, the Down Under superstar is in fact Northern Irish, which makes her actually British!

Who’d have thought it, eh?

During the interview, she told Eamonn and Ruth that she had been born and raised in Carrickfergus and Whitehead.

But if you’re wondering how the Northern Irish lass ended up becoming an Aussie TV legend who has starred in all the big shows – i.e. Prisoner Cell Block H –  here’s her back story.

When Jackie was just three her family emigrated to Australia where she studied the National Theatre Drama School.

She joined Neighbours in 1994 and became its longest serving cast member in October 2009.

Jackie also spoke for the first time about the ongoing rumour that she has a body full of tattoos.

It turns out that she hasn’t, so that’s put that rumour to bed once and for all.

“The rumour started many many years ago and continues for some reason, ” she laughed. “Our digital department shot a fun video for online where Susan is clearly dressed up as bikey. So they are tattoo sleeves which I thought was fantastic.”

When Ruth asked if she would actually have a tattoo, she replied: “Never say never, but I don’t think I would as I get older would probably change shape she and look totally horrendous.”
