Tamara Ecclestone slams ‘moany’ air traveller

The heiress called him out on social media after he moaned about her daughter

Tamara Ecclestone has reacted angrily to an air passenger who appeared to make a negative comment about her little girl.

The Formula One heiress, 33, and her daughter Fifi, four, were en route to New York on Friday when, she says, the man sat next to them moaned about the child being in First Class.

And after Tamara scalded the “miserable” traveller on social media, her followers flooded her inbox with messages of support.

The mum-of-one, who’s married to businessman Jay Rutland, didn’t exactly look full of the joys of spring as she posted a picture of herself on the plane, to her Instagram feed.

And it soon became apparent why.

Captioning the shot, she fumed: “When your [sic] sitting on the plane and a miserable human being says: ‘Oh, come on’ when he sees my Fifi.

“Living such a bitter existence can’t be good for the soul. Love and light.”

And sympathetic followers didn’t waste any time in taking Tamara’s side in the spat.

One of her fans soothed: “Take no notice. Bitter person.”

Another pointed out: “An airline flight is public transport. He needs to charter a private plane if he can’t cope!”

And a third person quipped: “Hope she sings Frozen’s ‘Let It Go’ for the whole journey!”

The man in question should’ve known better than to risk the wrath of Tamara’s legion of fans.

Back in December, some followers had a pop at Lorraine Kelly after the Scottish presenter tried to offer Tam some parenting advice.

During an interview on Lorraine’s ITV morning show, Tamara revealed that she was “heartbroken” when she had to send her daughter off to nursery.

It prompted the host to say: “‘You have to let them go – bring your daughters up to be strong and independent.”

But Tamara’s fans hit back at Lorraine, with one saying: “Her comment at letting them go – so rude. When will we stop judging others!!”

The heiress can take comfort in the fact that she has some First Class support!
