Strictly Come Dancing’s Aston Merrygold is getting ready for the birth of his first child.
And judging from his latest Instagram pic, it could be any minute!
The former JLS star, 29, shared a funny snap over the weekend showing him stretched out sleeping on his kitchen island unit with his car keys and phone at the ready.
He joked it was “the waiting game.” and added hashtags including “keys in hand”, “phone at the ready” and “sleep anywhere”.
Aston and girlfriend Sarah Richards announced back in September that they were expecting their first child.

And with a due date of January 2018, it’s nearly time for them to meet Baby Merrygold!
Fans were quick to tell Aston they understood EXACTLY how he is feeling, with one saying: “Hurry up Baby Merrygold but it’s worth the wait tho. I couldn’t wait for mine to be born now he’s one year old (sic).”
A second quipped: “May as well sleep now because once baby arrives there isn’t going to be much sleep!”
Other fans jokingly poked fun at Aston’s own timekeeping skills, with one laughing: “It’s definitely your baby if it’s not on time.”
Another agreed: “Baby Merrygold’s already taking after you we all know you’re never early for owt.”
Aston and Sarah became engaged over Christmas, with a sweet picture posted to Instagram showing off Sarah’s gorgeous new diamond sparkler.
Popstar Aston captioned the pic: “Allow me to introduce you all to my fiancée #TheMerrygolds #shesaidyes #enganged #wifey #mummydaddyandbabymerrygold.”
He sweetly tagged the location of the picture as “Cloud 9”.
Aston, who appeared on the last series of Strictly, has been with Sarah for around five years.
The pair previously said they wouldn’t be finding out the sex of their baby.
Announcing the pregnancy in September, Aston told fans: “On May 29th 2017 we found out that our lives were going to change forever! This secret has been so hard to keep, but I’m so excited to finally be able to share the news with everybody that me and my beautiful lady are going to be parents!
“I’m NEVER speechless but words can’t describe how I feel. All I know is there’s no feeling like it! Sarah, I promise to be the best daddy ever to our baby boy/girl.
