Stephanie Davis reaches out to ex Jeremy McConnell

Are these two now friends?

It’s taken nearly a year for Jeremy McConnell to finally extend an olive branch to Stephanie Davis.

Jez has finally accepted the fact that he is the father of newborn son Caben, so Steph has done something to almost say thank you.

The Irish reality star has now FOLLOWED his ex on Twitter.

And guess what? Steph followed him back!

Jeremy denied paternity since Stephanie announced that she was pregnant, so this is kind of a big deal.

The proud father took to Twitter and Instagram to reveal the big news.

On Sunday he wrote: “Happiest man alive , my new focus ❤️🐵”

Uploading the cute pic to Twitter he wrote: “I’ll love this monkey with every bit of me❤️😍”

Jeremy was seen on This Morning last week having a DNA sample taken, but it seems that the results were revealed in private.

What’s more, Steph deleted any trace of the statement that she shared stating that she was “humiliated” by him denying the fact that Caben was his son.

“Stephanie has felt humiliated by Jeremy denying his own son and foolishly announcing publicly his request for a DNA test,” the statement read.

“Jeremy has caused Stephanie massive amounts of stress, pressure and upset throughout her pregnancy, ruining what for most women is one of the most special time[s] of their lives.”

It went on: “Jeremy has at no point throughout the pregnancy or birth been in contact directly with Stephanie. Jeremy was categorically not banned from the birth, nor did he ever ask to attend.

“Jeremy has been given the option at all times to take part in a DNA test, because of past behaviour Stephanie has requested that this is handled via the correct channels and managed by her solicitor.”

With the former Hollyoaks star now getting rid of any bad blood, what does this mean for the couple now?
