As her unborn son’s birth date fast approaches, Stephanie Davis has declared that she is well and truly over her ex boyfriend Jeremy McConnell.
The gorgeous mum-to-be says that after five hellish months of dating the wild Irish model earlier in the year, she is well and truly happy and looking forward to the future with her son.
She has also declared that she is better off without her troublesome ex and would never get back with him.
Asked if she wanted Jeremy to attend the birth his son, she said: ‘He doesn’t deserve to. I don’t think he wants to be there either.”
She added: “I’m really not bothered about him anymore. I don’t think he ever loved me because you don’t lie and abandon someone you love.
“A baby doesn’t fix a toxic relationship, but if he hadn’t lied and cheated it wouldn’t have been toxic.”
Steph is also adamant that there is no going back and that she could never let Jeremy back into her life again.
“I know people say ‘never say never’ but I’m saying NEVER!’ she defiantly told OK!. ‘Six months ago I was desperate and I was reaching out to him. I loved him and I was desperate to have a baby with him. Now I don’t think I could ever forgive him for how he’s been.’
Steph, who is now a regular face on Loose Women, says that even though she was genuinely in love with the heavily tattooed model after meeting him in the Celebrity Big Brother house, she has decided once and for all that he will no longer play a part in her new family’s life and pledged to give her son the life Jez never had.
‘I feel like I’ve let my baby down because I couldn’t give him both parents. I’ve just got to keep telling myself that I tried my best. But I will always be sad about it and it’s like a nightmare everyday.’
