Scarlett Moffatt’s attempt at a sponge cake for her mum is too funny!

It's the thought that counts!

Scarlett Moffatt has revealed she had to improvise when it came to her mum’s birthday cake this year, as she “can’t cook”.

The Geordie fave told her fans that because she couldn’t cook her mum, Betty, an actual sponge cake, she brought her a white bath sponge instead!

The star shared a snap of the sponge, which was decorated with two flamingo stickers, two 10 euro notes and pink jewels.
