Ryan Thomas has revealed the sweet “welcome home” gift his girlfriend Lucy Mecklenburgh surprised him with following his Celebrity Big Brother win.
The former Coronation Street actor, 34, posted a snap to his Instagram stories on Thursday showing a kitchen table decorated with balloons and three light boxes, which featured adorable messages on them from Lucy.
The first light box had “missed you so much” on it, the second had “welcome home baby” and the third had “my winner”.

The gold and pink balloons and light boxes were also surrounded by a few bottles of champers and a bouquet of flowers.
Ryan captioned the photo: “Thank you @lucymeck1,” followed by a heart emoji.
Earlier this week, Ryan and former TOWIE star Lucy reunited after nearly one month apart.
Ryan shared a sweet snap to Instagram on Tuesday showing Lucy, 27, kissing him as they enjoyed a brief moment of peace amid the chaos of the Big Brother finale.
His caption simply read, “HER” followed by a love heart emoji.
Before reuniting with her beau, Lucy had told OK! magazine that she was planning a “welcome home party” at her home for Ryan.
She said: “I can’t wait to give him a big squeeze and a kiss. I’ll probably burst into tears.
“I’m planning a welcome home party at my house. I’m inviting all his friends round and I’m going to decorate it with balloons and banners.”
Lucy has defended Ryan throughout his stint on CBB by encouarging fans to vote for him to win as well as defending him during the Roxanne Pallett controversy.
She vigorously defended Ryan when former housemate Roxanne, 35, accused Ryan of punching her during what appeared to be a play fight.
Roxanne later apologised and admitted she’d got it “massively wrong”.
Ryan responded to Roxanne’s apology during his exit interview with Emma Willis on Monday night, saying he’ll forgive the former Emmerdale actress if that’s what she needs to feel better.
During an interview on Channel 5’s Jeremy Vine on Wednesday, Ryan also said he appreciated Roxanne saying sorry but didn’t want to dwell on the accusation as he’d rather look forwards to a positive future.
And speaking of a positive future, Ryan recently opened up about his future plans with Lucy regarding marriage and babies.
He told The Sun on Tuesday: “Lucy is someone I want in my life for a very long time. Marriage and babies… just taking it one day at a time.”

After being away from Lucy and his family for nearly one month, Ryan added: “It’s been a privilege to come out and see my brothers and Lucy, they are my world.
“I’ve just turned my phone on this morning and there has been an overload of love and support.”
