Proud Gordon Ramsay shares sweet pic with daughter

Happy birthday, Megan!

Gordon Ramsay has shared a beautiful photo with his daughter Megan to mark her 20th birthday.

The celebrity chef also used the sweet post to share his pride in Megan being the first Ramsay family member to attend university.

In the snap, Gordon, 51, can be seen cuddling his first-born child.

His caption read: “Happy Birthday to this gorgeous young lady, 20 years old today, talented, gracious, determined, thoughtful, kind, every quality a dad could wish for, first Ramsay making it to University #prouddad.

“Have a great day Megan, love you.”

Hundreds of Gordon’s fans chimed in to wish Megan a happy birthday too, with one saying: “Happy birthday Megan, no matter how old you get, you will always be daddy’s little girl.”

Gordon’s wife, Tana, also shared a birthday tribute to Megan via Instagram.

She simply said: “Happy 20th Birthday Meg!! Where did that 20 years go…. So proud to be your Mummy x happy Happy Birthday.”

Gordon and Tana are also parents to twins Holly and Jack, 18, and 16-year-old Matilda.

The chef has spoken about how he and Tana are raising their children to be grounded, refusing to lavish them with excess money and luxuries.

In an interview with The Telegraph last year, Gordon said: “Meg’s at uni and has a budget of £100 a week; the others get about £50 a week and they have to pay for their own phones, their bus fare. The earlier you give them that responsibility to save for their own trainers and jeans, the better.”

He’s also said he’d never push any of his children to follow his career footsteps, although youngest daughter Tilly has been carving out a name for herself in that field.

She presents a cookery show called Matilda and the Ramsay Bunch on CBBC and has her own cookbook, Tilly’s Kitchen Takeover.

Gordon recently shared his pride in twins Holly and Jack, after they ran their first London Marathon.

The twins took on the challenge to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital.

Posting a photo of them to Instagram afterwards, Gordon said: “So proud of Holly and Jack for finishing their first London Marathon.”

He added: “You did it in some of the hottest conditions too, so well done! Big congrats to all those running today as well. Don’t go too crazy on the pints tonight to celebrate…Love you Dad xx.”
