Piers Morgan brands Beckhams “so cringe” as he hits out at them again

A little harsh..

Piers Morgan has laid into the Beckhams once again over their recent Vogue magazine cover.

David, Victoria and their four kids posed for a string of sweet family pics for October’s edition of the mag and opened up about their day-to-day family life away from the spotlight.

But Good Morning Britain host Piers didn’t seem keen and shared his thoughts on Twitter.

Piers shared a photo from the magazine spread, which saw Victoria and David lying on grass as their four kids – Brooklyn, 19, Romeo, 15, Cruz, 13, and Harper, seven, – stood around their parents while aiming water guns at each other.

Piers also added a snap of the mag’s front cover, which featured fashion designer Victoria and her kids.

The presenter tweeted: “God the Beckhams are so…. cringe.”

This isn’t the first time Piers has criticised the famous family.

Last year, in an interview with The Sun Piers hit out at Victoria and David for “trying to turn all their kids into overnight superstars” after their son Cruz released a Christmas single in 2016.

Piers also mocked Victoria and David’s appearance at The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s wedding in May.

The 53-year-old slammed former footballer David after he was caught on camera chewing gum at the nuptials.

He also called fashion designer Victoria a “sourpuss” for failing to crack a smile as she arrived at the ceremony.

Piers said: “[David] gets in church and what’s the one thing you don’t do in church?”

His co-star Susanna Reid replied: “You’ve got an issue with him chewing gum.”

Piers continued: “I mean he goes into church and sits down next to Nicholas Soames, the pillar of the establishment and a man related to Winston Churchill.

“And what does old Golden Balls do? He chews gum.”

Moving on to Victoria, Piers added: “You’re at the sunniest and happiest wedding in the world and you turn up looking like,” as a clip of the Spice Girl arriving at the service was shown.

“She thinks she’s the new Audrey Hepburn, no you’re not you’re the Audrey from the Rovers Return love.”

During their interview with Vogue, Victoria said she and David have learned to ignore “the nonsense” written about their marriage.

Victoria, who married David in 1999, said: “People have been making things up about our relationship for 20 years, so David and I are pretty used to ignoring the nonsense and just carrying on as normal.

“But these things have a wider effect on the people around us, and that’s unfair.”

The couple have often faced false rumours about the state of their marriage, most recently in June, when they were forced to issue a statement rubbishing speculation a divorce was on the cards.

Victoria added: “It’s all about the family unit. We are much stronger the six of us, than we would be if we were individuals. We respect that family bond and that is key.”
