Piers Morgan really doesn’t like JK Rowling, does he?
On this morning’s GMB, the breakfast host savaged the popular Harry Potter author and hung her out to dry.
Discussing how Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them won the Oscar for Costume Design with Susanna Reid and Richard Arnold, Piers lost his rag!

He was adamant that the hype surrounding the book and film series was all just hot air and that there were millions of people around the world who had never read or seen a Harry Potter book or film!
And he was backed up by his producers who were apparently whispering into his earpiece that they too had never read a Harry Potter book or seen any of the films.
“I wouldn’t know one end of a muggle from a Voldemort,” Piers raged. “I’ve never read them. J.K. Rowling is incredibly irritating.
This isn’t the first time they have locked horns. They became embroiled in a row about President Trumpa while back which left Pier’s son and self-confessed Harry Potter fan Spencer feeling like he was torn between the pair of them.
Uploading a picture of the Deathly Hallows symbol he’d got tattooed on his bicep, the long haire Spencer shared it with both his dad and Rowling, accompanying the pic with the words, “Well this is awkward.”
Of course, one most definitely to cause a fuss, wicked Piers tweeted his son back announcing that he had been removed him from his will!
“My son will be sorrier, I just cut him out of my will. cc @spencermorgan93 ,” the scamp posted.
Spencer has yet to respond and neither has J.K. following today’s outburst.
Since their beef kicked off, Piers and J.K. have been exchanged public barbs over Twitter – and it would seem like the author has the upper hand.
A while back J.K. took a pop at Piers by tweeting him a screenshot of an article in which he had actually paid tribute to her writing and her amazing impact on children’s literacy. She told him she wanted to thank him for his support.

But Piers wasn’t having any of it and hit back, saying it was a “priceless humblebrag BS” and adding: “Nobody plays the celebrity game more abusively or ruthlessly than you, Ms ‘Intensely Private Billionaire’.”
Oh, well, we can’t wait to see who says what next!
