Peter Andre’s wife Emily to stand in for Dr Hilary Jones on Lorraine

Well down, Em!

Peter Andre’s wife Emily has revealed she’s stepping in for Dr Hilary Jones on Lorraine this week.

The qualified doctor used her new OK! magazine column to break the news, admitting she was both nervous and excited about the opportunity.

Emily told her fans: “I’m going on Lorraine this week as Dr Hilary Jones is away. I’m excited and nervous about it, but I had a great time last time so it’s lovely that they wanted to have me back.

“It’s also got to that time of the year to have my hair done, which is good timing before Lorraine.

“I usually get it done every six months. I’m hoping to go a bit blonder, so let’s see if Pete notices!”

Hear that, Pete?!

Emily, 28, appeared on Lorraine back in September, giving her first ever solo TV interview.

She was on the show to talk about giving birth to her and Peter’s youngest child, son Theo, one, and how she felt guilt at a C-section.

Emily said: “I felt I’d let him down as it is more risky having a caesarean than a natural birth

“I probably worried myself more than I should have done.”

After the interview, Emily vowed she wouldn’t be appearing on live TV again, as it was out of her “comfort zone”.

She said in an old OK! column: “I still haven’t watched myself back on Lorraine and I don’t know if I ever will. I’m too embarrassed.

“I really enjoyed it but, because I was so nervous, I’m not sure you’ll see me on live TV again any time soon.”

We’re glad you’ve changed your mind, Emily!

The Taunton-born star is also mum to daughter Amelia, four, while Peter has two children – Junior, 12, and ten-year-old Princess – with his ex-wife Katie Price.

She recently returned to work in the hospital following maternity leave.

Emily previously said she was weighing up whether to specialise in psychiatrist or as a GP, but said she still has plenty of time to make that decision.
