Peter Andre has shared new details about his debut film role in LA – and it sounds like we’ll be seeing a dramatically different Pete on screen.
The Mysterious Girl has just been over in Hollywood filming for new movie, The Inheritance, which is directed by British filmmaker James Hickox.
Speaking in his latest New! magazine column, Pete shared the first snippets of info about his mysterious character.
“Playing the character Harry was intense and very dark. Harry, who was a big success in the past, is now a heroin addict, who’s planning to kill himself.
“He’s a shadow of his former self – covered in tattoos and piercings and often surrounded by half-drunk bottles of tequila and used syringes. I’ll be going back later in the year to film more and I can’t wait.”
The 44-year-old added that the character took a lot of prep work.
He explained: “Becoming the character took months of preparing and thankfully it paid off. I sent a picture of me covered in tats and piercings to my friends saying, ‘Meet Harry!’ They were like, ‘What the hell?’
“It’s always fun to be able to be someone else for a short time.”

The dad-of-four to Junior, Princess, Amelia and Theo has been catching up with friends while in the US, including the Jackson family.
Pete wrote next to a sunny picture of the group: “Great spending time with my wonderful friends @tajjackson @tjjackson9 @tarylljackson @poppa3t. Great meeting you @princejackson and @blanketjackson7 #losangeles #goodtimes.”
He’s also been hanging out with old girlfriend, singer Melanie Brown.
The pair, who had a nine-month fling back in 1996, have both posted cosy snaps together.
Beside a picture together, Mel, 42, wrote: “Reunited and it feels sooo good @peterandre #friendsforever.”
Her 1.1 million followers loved it, writing: “Now there’s a blast from the past big hugs 🤗🤗🤗❤❤.”
Another added: “Love that smile, you deserve all the happiness in the world 💜💜.”
A third commented simply: “Both still so hot 🔥🔥 @officialmelb @peterandre.”
Pete, 45, now married to doctor Emily, also added his own montage of snaps, writing: “Good times”.
In 2011 he told Piers Morgan during an interview that Mel “broke my heart.”
The Aussie star said at the time: “I really liked Mel but she broke my heart. She treated me like I’d treated other women in the past and she made me grow up.”
He also revealed: “She secretly got married during our relationship – and got the call to say her divorce came through while we were having sex! We’re good friends now and laugh about it.”
