One Direction star Louis Tomlinson reveals his mum’s dying wish

His mum passed away in December 2016

Louis Tomlinson has opened up about what his mother told him before she passed away in December last year.

The 25-year-old said that his mum, Johannah Deakin urged him to resolve any issues with his former bandmate Zayn Malik.

Since her death, the singer has held up his side of the bargain and visited the Pillowtalk star.

Talking to The Sun, he said: “My mum said ‘You’ve got to get back in contact with Zayn. Life’s too short’.

“A mother’s intuition is just crazy. It always felt supernatural to me. My mum always knew what I was feeling and what I wanted.

“I can’t stand to hold a grudge with anyone. It doesn’t sit with me right. If there is any animosity, just clear the air. I met up with him and it was nice.

“I would always see the good in Zayn and also watch him shoot himself in the foot with some of his decisions, but he’s just a little misunderstood.”

Louis and Zayn fell out after Zayn shockingly quit One Direction in March 2015.

Days after, producer Naughty Boy, real name Shahid Khan, shared of photo of him and Zayn recording music in the studio and Louis was not impressed about how Shahid handled the situation.

Louis replied: “Remember when you were 12 and you used to think those Mac filters for your pictures were cool haha! Some people still do HA!”.

After a huge back and forth with each other, Zayn piped up and said: “Remember when you had a life and stopped making bitchy comments about mine?”.

In a shocking twist, two months later, Zayn then tweeted two hateful messages about the Naughty Boy producer.

@NaughtyBoyMusic you fat joke stop pretending we’re friends no one knows you,” he wrote.

Followed by: “Someone learned how to upload a video… maybe now he should learn how to use logic ha you ain’t [expletive] but a faker.”

Luckily, the nastiness is over and Louis’s mum has made sure her son and Zayn are friends again.

Midwife Johannah passed away in December as she left Louis and six other children, Lottie, 18, Felicite, 16, twins Daisy and Phoebe, both 12, and twins Ernest and Doris, both aged two, who she gave birth to prematurely in 2014.

She had a very aggressive form of leukaemia and didn’t have long before her health deteriorated.

After she passed, Zayn sent a tweet to Louis after their fallout, and wrote: “@Louis_Tomlinson love you bro! All of your family is in my prayer. proud of your strength and know your mum is too x”.

Opening up about his mother’s death to SiriusXM Radio earlier this year, the father-of-one said: “It’s not something that I feel 100 per cent comfortable talking too much about but just quickly, when I first found out the news I kind of did want to throw the towel in.

“But it was my mum who said to me that I’ve just got to keep going, telling me very sternly that she wanted me to. So I’m not doing it for her but…”
