Olly Murs makes fans who missed out on his shows very happy with heartfelt gesture

He knows how to put smiles back on people's faces

Last week Olly Murs had to break the news to his fans that two of his upcoming gigs had to be cancelled

Not because he hadn’t sold enough tickets, but because the company that was promoting it went bust.

Now to help mop up the tears of his fans, Olly has come up with a solution.

In a message posted on Twitter, the former X Factor star told his 7.7million followers about his new plan.

“After both of these shows were cancelled when the promoter went into liquidation, I know you were all upset and left out of pocket!’ he wrote.

“We tried to find a way of still doing the shows or rescheduling them but ended up facing too many obstacles, and we couldn’t risk letting you down again.

“So, together with my management, agent and promoters of my other summer shows, we have come up with the most viable solution so I can still hopefully see most of you!

“Anyone that hasn’t been offered a refund from their original ticketing company can get their ticket swapped with a replacement one to either of these following shows…”

He went on to explain: “For those of you that have been told you’ll be refunded from the ticket agency, you will still be offered special offer tickets to either of these.

“All of the ticket issuers will be able to give you full details.

“I know I’m asking you to trade to new locations, and it’s far from ideal, but we’ve really tried to make something work & I hope I can see loads of you at these other shows. Much love always, Olly x.”

Awwww, what a nice guy, right?

Well, his fans certainly think so as they all took to Twitter to say thanks.

One wrote: “N’aww Olly, that’s well nice, bless ya all! You’re all so lovely always thinking of your fans!!!

“Fair play Olly that’s really good of you to do that! I bet you’re gonna have some very happy fans who will now get to see you!! xx,” another replied.

A third added: “This is why you’re literally the best man in the biz.”

Meanwhile, fans are still trying to get over Olly’s wicked behaviour on This Morning a couple of weeks ago, when he pulled down his trousers live on air and pretended to do a number two on the telly.

Clearly inspired by his song title Unpredictable, that he released with Louisa Johnson recently, he stood up at the end of the interview and stooped down, leaving everyone gobsmacked.

“What are you doing?” questioned Holly Willoughby.

It turns out Olly was pretending to replay what had happened earlier the week when a pony made a bit of a mess of the This Morning carpet.

Phillip Schofield told the star: “If you can beat the pony, I’ll let you do it,” to which Olly cheekily replied: “Some do say there’s a pony down there!”

What a cheeky pup!
