‘No-show’ from Meghan Markle at Pippa Middleton’s wedding after all

First she was out, then in... now out again?

| Updated:

Some months ahead of Pippa Middleton’s wedding, there were reports that the bride was operating a “no bling, no bring” policy for her guest list.

Essentially, this means that, unless a couple is married or engaged, the other half of friends and family doesn’t get an invitation.

This translated as Prince Harry therefore not bringing along his girlfriend Meghan Markle.

While the royal is said to be smitten with the beautiful American actress, he is yet to put a ring on it.

Similarly, this also meant that Spencer Matthews, brother of the groom, would not be in attendance with his other half du jour Vogue Williams.

Indeed, neither of the GFs was pictured at today’s church ceremony.

And Vogue shared an Instagram selfie of her – so she definitely didn’t make the wedding guest cut.

There’s no word from Meghan yet, however.

This week there were reports that the Suits star WOULD attend after all.

However, it now appears that she will be joining Harry and the wedding party for the reception at Pippa’s parents home.

Obviously no bride wants to be upstaged at her wedding. And with so much attention on Harry and Meghan at present, there was a danger of Pippa being overshadowed by two women – her and sister Catherine.

The money shot would be Prince Harry and his rumoured bride-to-be, after all – not the sister of the Princess and her groom James, who’s only known for being the brother of posh reality star Spencer!

Interestingly, Pippa’s brother James was allowed to bring his partner Donna Air – and they are not betrothed…
